    This is my 9th year in Avon and my first year at Avon Middle School South.

    I previously was a 5th grade Language Arts teacher at Avon Intermediate East for 3 years. Before teaching general education I spent the first 5 years teaching inclusion Special Education at East. 
        
    I grew up in Carmel, Indiana and graduated form Carmel High School  and attended Ball State University graduating in 2006 with a degree in elementary education and special education.  In 2005 I was trained in Orton Gillingham as a tutor for the DII. 
     
    A bit about me:   I have 2 dogs and currently live in Zionsville, Indiana.  I enjoy working out and love spending time with my friends and family.
