P.A.W.S CLUB
    Preserving Animal Wellness and Service)
The PAWS Club is a group of students who love animals, want to learn more about them and their care, and want to help animals in need.
We will have guest speakers from various rescues and shelters, we will go on a field trip to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, and we will be trained to be Misty Eyes Rescue junior volunteers.  We will learn how to write our state legislators about Bills concerning animal welfare and write to pet companies to solicit donations for area shelters.
We want to make a difference!

  • The first callout meeting for the 2014-2015 meeting was August 26th from 2:40-3:30 in the media center. We passed out PAWS permission slips and discussed our goals for training to be Misty Eyes Rescue junior volunteers, guest speakers, and service projects.
ANY STUDENT INTERESTED MAY STILL JOIN PAWS Club at ANY TIME as long as they have a signed permission slip.
PAWS Club will meet on Wednesdays this year, and times may vary due to availabiltiy of speakers or amount of time needed for projects. Please check the PAWS calendar frequently for updates, and students should listen for announcements in the morning at school.
