Mrs. Rewolinski (Rev)

Hi there!

My name is Kasey Rewolinski  (Rev-uh-lin-ski), but my students usually call me Mrs. Rev!  I teach 7th and 8th grade Computer Science.  I am so excited to be at South this year, and look forward to getting to know my students in class.

I am originally from Bloomington, IN and went to Purdue University.  My Bachelor's degree is in Human Services, and my first career out of college was in the social work field.  A few years in, I decided to go back to school and obtain my teaching license through Taylor University's Transition to Teaching program.  I completed my student teaching in the fall of 2019 over at Avon Intermediate West!  I am so glad to have gotten to stick around Avon and to now live here with my husband and two dogs, Lucy and Wicket!  In my spare time, I really love to be outside with my dogs or biking, baking, baseball (Go Cardinals!) and reading.

I took my first coding classes during undergrad at Purdue and really loved exploring all of the different opportunities to create that a computer can provide and am looking forward to sharing that passion with my students.  In Computer Science, we use to learn HTML and CSS for Web Development and game development using Game Lab that uses the language JavaScript.  Assignments will be either linked or posted in Schoology, along with a daily summary where your student can find out what they may have missed in class.

If you need to reach me: I am available via ParentSquare, email ( or by phone by calling the front office and requesting to leave me a voicemail (317-544-5700).
