• This class serves as an in-depth study of U.S. History from the Age of Exploration to Reconstruction.  We will be examing events from an economic, social, political, and geographical perspective.  Students will be encouraged to analyze cause and effect relationships throughout our country's past.  There will be discussions, simulations, and research projects used to explore the issues and events in United States History.  This class will attempt to connect the events of the past to current history.  The primary skill set we will work on this year includes:

      • Finding and Summarizing the Main Idea
      • Comparing and Contrasting
      • Interpreting Graphs, Charts, and Diagrams
