Leader Networks

Twice a semester, Dr. Wyndham hosts a luncheon for community business, civic, and nonprofit leaders.

During these lunchtime meetings — typically sponsored by local restaurants and hosted in Avon schools — attendees get to hear the latest developments that are occurring in and around Avon Schools. They also get to hear from principals, educators, and — most importantly — students. These 90-minute luncheons are an excellent way for community leaders to network with one another and to remain up to date on what is taking place in Avon Schools.

This network of informed, engaged advocates lend a voice to the students, teachers, and staff of the Avon Community School Corporation to promote student achievement and community engagement. Oriole Advocates engage the Avon-Washington Township community and local and state-level leaders to help Avon Schools remain one of the premier school corporations in Indiana. 

Nominations and applications for the 2024-25 school year will open in August 2025.
