• Principal's Message
     
     At Avon Intermediate School East we take PRIDE in our students as we contribute to the important work of providing a developmentally responsive education to our intermediate students.  It is our job to provide our nearly 700 students opportunities to grow and learn while keeping them engaged, challenged and supported.   Our students are gifts with limitless potential.  Through the inclusive efforts of our school community, we can help them to develop their own unique skills and talents and prepare them for continued success far beyond their early adolescent years.  
     

    We utilize a system of school-wide positive behavior supports to increase our capacity to reduce school disruptions and educate all students through clearly defined outcomes and a supportive and communicative system for problem solving. We use the acronym PRIDE to help our students with some key words as we establish a regular, predictable, positive learning and teaching environment:
