AMS South 7th Grade FootballParents and players,
Welcome to the 2019 AMS-South 7th Grade Football Team website. We are very excited for the upcoming season. We would like to encourage all athletes to play football this season as a fall sport, regardless of skill level and previous involvement. It is our expectation that all players who participate will be ready to learn, work hard, and be disciplined football players. As with all sports, academics come first, and we require all players to be STUDENT athletes. Football is not a cut sport. While we would love for each player to be on the field each game, we do not make any guarantees on playing time and there is a real possibility that not every player will play in every game. Please encourage your athlete to be on time to practice, prepared with their equipment, ready to learn, open-minded, and ready to seize opportunities in practice. These things will be major components when determining playing time in games.Equipment handout is Tuesday, July 30th at 5:30 p.m. Our first practice is Wednesday, July 31st after school until 5:30 p.m. You can find a game schedule on the AMS South Athletics Homepage. Please check back to this site often, as we will update information, schedules, etc. throughout the season. Also, check out the files for AMS Football Camp, Important Summer Dates, and AMS South Football apparel. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. We look forward to a great season!

7th grade Equipment Handout will be at 5:30 pm in the large gymnasium (enter at back of AMS South).
Money for fees is due at this time ($120 total (subject to change), which includes a $25 athletic fee, $50 program support fee and $45 practice pack.) The practice pack will consist of a mouthpiece, a practice jersey, and game pants, which you will keep at the end of the season. We will accept cash or check. Checks should be made out to AMS South. Once all of the previous conditions are met, we will provide all equipment you need, besides cleats.
ACSC is moving to a completely paperless clearance process. The new process includes a paperless IHSAA Pre-Participation Physical. A parent/guardian and student-athlete will be required to create an account and manage the necessary documents using the Privit Portal.
This process will provide a higher level of security and efficiency than the previous process. This process will be for everyone including those coming to ACSC Physical Night and those students who are going another place to get a sports physical. Detailed instructions to complete the new process can be found by visiting the following link: ACSC 2017-2018 Physical Information
