Mrs. Linda Langford

I am excited to begin the second half of my teaching career at Avon Schools. I began teaching at Spencer-Owen Schools followed by Brownsburg Community Schools, where I taught 8th grade language arts and served as department chair. I also taught W131 at the University of Indianapolis. After taking a few years to stay home with our children, I am enthused about returning to the classroom. I look forward to getting to know your awesome teenagers and helping them grow in their thinking, reading, and writing.

Some fun facts about myself- I grew up in New Castle, Indiana in the midst of high school basketball fever.  (In high school, I was in marching band, speech and debate, and 4-H!) I did my student teaching in Swindon, England. My husband and I have lived in Avon since 2002 and have three kids and one spoiled dog, Griffey. Two of our kids have graduated from AHS and one attends AMSS. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and attending school and community events. My favorite food is a Diet Coke and a taco salad from La Ha!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have about your child or the class.

All lessons and assignments will be posted on my schoology page located at www.avon.schoology.com.
