Welcome!  I am Miss Lana, and I am so happy to be returning for another year at Pine Tree Elementary!  I began teaching special education 6 years ago up north by my home town of Monticello.  I taught high school algebra, language arts, and life skills.  Prior to that I was a Para and guidance counselor assistant. I moved to the Plainfield area in August of 2017. I have one son (21) and 3 adorable adopted fur babies (2 dogs and 1 sassy kitty).

I graduated from Purdue University with my Bachelors, and received my Special Education Licensure from Butler University.  When I moved to this area I had the opportunity to teach within elementary and developmental preschool and my heart fell for the preschool classroom.  I look forward to many more years of being a part of the Avon school community!
