AHS Artists 'Make An Impression' in County Art Show

Artwork from several Avon High School students was featured at the Make an Impression Hendricks County High School Art Show at Hendricks Live.

Now in its 11th year, this is a juried student art show in which all Hendricks County high schools participate. There are three categories, Drawing/Painting, Print, and 3-D.

The following students won awards for their inspiring work:

  • Taylor Ritter won an Honorable Mention for her colored pencil drawing in the drawing category
  • Isabel Palanca won 1st Place and an Honorable Mention for her digital drawings in the print category; she also won two Scholastic awards, an Honorable Mention for a Portfolio of five of her digital works, and a Silver Key for one of her digital drawings 
  • Grace Schenk won an Honorable Mention and a Jurors Award for her photography in the print category
  • Hailey Cook won the Curators Choice Award for her ceramic piece in the 3-D category

The show was on display at Hendricks Live through February 15.
