AHS Senior is Regional Academic All-Star

Avon High School senior Nancy Orogun is one of 50 students recognized by the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) as 2026 Academic All-Star Regional honorees.

Nancy, Salutatorian of the class of '26 and multi-time team and individual Speech and Debate State Champion, has earned a place among Hoosier academic elite. She received the award at a special banquet held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

According to IASP, the Academic All-Stars Committee evaluates students on five criteria:

• Strength of the academic transcript
• GPA and ACT/SAT college entrance exam scores
• Extracurricular activities related to academics
• Nonacademic extracurricular activities
• Commitment to leadership, community service, and other activities

During her distinguished career in Avon Schools, Nancy has compiled a long list of accomplishments and has, in every way, been an excellent representative of her family, school, and community.
