AHS Speech and Debate Team Earns National Honor

AHS Speech and Debate Team Earns National Honor
In addition to earning a first-place finish at the Westfield High School Speech and Debate tournament on Saturday, October 30, the Avon High School Speech and Debate team received notification that it garnered significant recognition for its 2020-21 school year successes from the National Speech & Debate Association.
The organization notified Avon's Speech and Debate Team:
You have earned membership in the Association's prestigious 100 Club. Your Club Award is remarkable because it demonstrates outstanding commitment to teaching students essential life skills—including communication, research, listening, writing, and organization.
Kudos to the students, Coach Linda Langford, and Coaches Devin Noyes, Laura Elmore, Julie Brinson-Dutcher, Pam Lyons, Larry Alcorn, and Mike Langford!
