AMBG Continues Winning Tradition

Once again, the Avon Marching Black and Gold have concluded a marching band season on the podium. AMBG brought home runner-up finishes at both the Indiana ISSMA State Finals and Bands of America Grand National competitions.

A regional university band likes to call themselves The Best Darn Band in the Land. However, because of two decades of unprecedented success, you could argue the title belongs to AMBG.

Consider this.

AMBG has made the grand national finals 20 times since 2001. In those 20 appearances, they have finished in the top three each of the last 15 consecutive years. They have placed second seven times to go along with their three national championships.

Congratulations to all the students, directors, parents, and volunteers. You make your community proud!
