AMS North Celebrates Expansion with Ribbon Cutting

Avon Middle School North opened its doors as a 7th- and 8th-grade middle school in 2009. To be ready to welcome 6th-grade students and to accommodate a rapidly growing performing arts program at the start of the new school year, it needed to be expanded.

Avon employees and community leaders gathered at AMS North with representatives from design-build partners Performance Services on Tuesday, July 21, to celebrate the completion of the project. 

The building is complete and ready to welcome students on the first day of school, Wednesday, July 30.
