Avon Bands Wrap Another Stellar Season

Avon Bands have concluded another stellar season with a sweep of Indiana State Championships and a World Title.

Avon High School Bands wrapped up their winter season recently and, in the process, they've rewritten the record books again. All three groups won State Championships—the 12th, 22nd, and 9th State Titles for World Guard, World Drumline, and Indoor Winds, respectively.

As if that wasn't enough, World Drumline placed 9th at Worlds, World Guard finished on the podium with a 3rd-place result, and Indoor Winds won their 7th—and 5th consecutive—World Title!

World Guard

• IHSCGA Scholastic World Class State Champions (12th state title) 
• WGI Scholastic World Class Bronze Medalist

World Drumline

• IPA Scholastic World Class State Champions (22nd state title, 13th consecutive)
• WGI Scholastic World Class Finalists, 9th Place

And last but not least ...

Indoor Winds

• IPA Scholastic World Class State Champions (9th state title, 7th consecutive)
• WGI World Champions (7th world title, 5th consecutive)
