Avon Board Honors Jay Webb

The Avon Board of School Trustees honored retiring Avon High School Director of Bands Jay Webb by issuing a Resolution of Commendation at their June 13 meeting, the highest level of distinction given by the Board.

During his 29-year career in Avon, Webb's Bands won 71 State, National, and World Championships, a feat unlikely to ever be equaled or surpassed.
