Avon Schools PD Welcomes New Officer
Chief Sam Leahy, Superintendent Dr. Scott Wyndham, Assistant Superintendents Dr. Michael Sullivan and Carrie Alday, and several district leaders gathered with members of the Avon Schools PD and Safety teams to witness the swearing in of Avon School Police Department's newest Officer, Tre Scott-Spencer.
Scott-Spencer earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Criminology and Psychological Science from Ball State University where he was a Magna Cum Laude graduate. He completed his certification at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield where he earned the second-highest GPA in his class.
For the last few years, he has served as a Patrol Officer at the Indiana University Police Department.
