Avon Students Medal at Taekwondo Nationals

In July, Confidence Club Martial Arts Taekwondo students competed in AAU Nationals, and most of these competitors won medals. This studio has a long history of Avon kids succeeding both inside and outside of Taekwondo.

While Taekwondo is not a sanctioned Indiana High School Athletic Association sport, these medal winners deserve recognition.

• AHS - Clay Critser won Bronze in Point Fighting, ITF Forms & Open Forms
• AMS North - Ethan Reed won Bronze in Creative Weapons Forms, Traditional Weapons Forms & Open Forms
• AMS West - Parker Henderson won Bronze in Point Fighting
• AMS North - Sanaya Pandya won Silver in Point Fighting & Bronze in ITF Forms
• AMS West - Cora Ven did not medal but had a strong showing
