Celebrating Orioles - Avon Speech Team
The Avon High School Speech Team won the school's first ever Speech State Championship this spring and three individual competitors won State Championships. The Avon Board of School Trustees issues Resolutions of Commendation for each feat at their April 11 meeting.
For the second year in a row, Liam Hoffman won the state title in International Extemporaneous. Aissatou Ndiaye captured the state title in the Informative Speech category. And Nancy Orogun won her state championship in Original Oratory.
