Challenger Baseball: A League for Athletes with Special Needs

Challenger Baseball: A League for Athletes with Special Needs

Are you – or is someone you love – an athlete with special needs between the ages of 5 and 22 who lives in Hendricks County? If so, you should know that Opening Day for the Challenger Baseball League is April 16.

In this fun and competitive league, athletes are paired with a buddy to help them participate safely while having a great time. Buddies are volunteers from little league teams, athletes from Hendricks County middle and high schools, and other qualified individuals from the community.

The CBL is flexible and they are able to facilitate participation for virtually any athlete who wants to compete.

Dates: Saturdays in April and May (June if necessary due to rainouts)
Times: Games begin at 9:00 or 9:30 am
Location: Various Brownsburg baseball fields
Cost: $0 - The Indianapolis Indians are covering registration costs for all CBL athletes
