Class of '25 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

At their May 12 meeting, the Avon Board of School Trustees recognized the outstanding accomplishments — in the classroom and beyond — of the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Avon High School class of '25.

Connor Taylor

Earning an astounding 5.504 GPA, Connor Taylor is the class of '25 Valedictorian. His academic prowess has earned many achievements and recognitions: National Honor Society, AP Scholar with Distinction, and Rising Star of Indiana. Beyond the classroom, this well-rounded individual participated in the Avon Marching Black & Gold, Indoor Winds, Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Power of Physics, and Rock Climbing. He's also an Eagle Scout and a Taekwondo black belt. Connor has been a student in Avon Schools since kindergarten and he is narrowing down his college choices. He plans to study mechanical engineering.

Adelyn Wyndham

Our class of '25 Salutatorian, Adelyn Wyndham, decided in kindergarten that she wanted to pursue straight-As, and she succeeded, earning a 5.5 GPA. Her dedication to her studies earned several accolades: AP Scholar with Distinction, National Merit Scholarship Finalist, Rising Star of Indiana. She was one of 12 Indiana seniors to receive a Eugene Cato scholarship from the IHSAA for academic and athletic excellence. She is President of the AHS Interact Club and a member of National Honor Society. She lettered in tennis and volleyball. She attended Avon Schools since preschool. She will continue her studies at the Massachusets Institute of Technology.

Congratulations, Connor and Adelyn. You make us all #AvonProud.
