COVID-19 Symptoms Reminder

During this spike in COVID-19 cases—a spike that recently turned Hendricks County orange and then red, again testing our collective resolve and patience—we have been working hard to contain the spread among our students and staff. Over the last few weeks, the numbers have been encouraging.

Help us continue safeguarding the health of our students by keeping your child home if they have any of the symptoms of COVID-19.

These symptoms include:

  • fever/chills
  • cough
  • shortness of breath
  • fatigue
  • muscle/body aches
  • headache
  • loss of taste/smell
  • sore throat
  • sinus congestion
  • nausea/diarrhea

Since the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, each COVID+ in our schools has resulted in an average of nearly nine quarantines. Your commitment to monitoring symptoms and taking appropriate action will help us further diminish the impact of COVID-19 in our schools and community.
