Episode 44: Strategic Growth Models
Despite growing by more than 2,100 students since 2010, Avon Schools has been able to delay the construction of a new school since opening River Birch Elementary that year. As we look ahead over the next five to 10 years and observe signs that student enrollment will continue increasing, we've begun having a conversation about how we can be prepared to grow. Join Superintendent Dr. Wyndham, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Michael Sullivan, Director of Teaching & Learning (prek-6) Carrie Alday, and Director of Teaching & Learning (7-12) Dr. Dustin Lemay as they discuss three proposed models for strategic growth. Listen in as they share their experiences witnessing growth in Avon Schools, the background of this project, the positives and challenges of each model, and more.
