December 2 is Special Education Day, an annual commemoration of the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. In honor of this important day, Superintendent Dr. Scott Wyndham sits down for a conversation with Director of Special Education Susie Hurt to talk about the wide range of services Avon's Special Education team provides for more than 1,700 students with special needs from developmental preschool through graduation and beyond.
