Noting Mary is not the kind of person who seeks the spotlight, but who has nevertheless earned it because of her thoughtfulness and kindness, Dr. Wyndham tells her, "You are not a loud person. You're not out front. You're not craving attention. You are a quiet, servant leader, and that's such a powerful thing." Emily agrees: "Mary has this ability to build a team that wants to follow her. She has built some great friendships and relationships with those folks. They are incredibly loyal to her and that has to be a testament to her heart and her kindness."

For these reasons and many more, Mary is an excellent representative of the hundreds of support staff members who come to work in Avon Schools each day to quietly contribute to our students' success.
