Episode 51: Avon High School Work Study Program

Episode 51: Avon High School Work Study Program

March is Disability Awareness Month. In recognition of the occasion, and in celebration of our incredible students of all abilities, Dr. Wyndham sat down for a conversation about the Avon High School Work Study Program.

Listen in as AHS Transition Coordinator Kimberly Lobosky, joined by senior Mikal Cooper and junior Owen Carr, talk about the program and how it's helping them build the skills they need to find and keep rewarding, meaningful employment in our community. To illustrate the success of the program, Avon Schools Food Service Administrator Emily Cates and '20 AHS graduate Bryce Bottema join the conversation to talk about his role in the cafeteria at Avon Middle School North.
