Gold Card Holders Enjoy Tailgate Before Orioles Win
The Avon Orioles beat the Fishers Tigers 36-26 at their Homecoming football game on Friday, September 25, but the excitement started 90 minutes before kickoff when Avon Gold Card Holders gathered near the south endzone for a tailgate party.
Avon Superintendent Dr. Scott Wyndham, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Chris Finley, and the Avon Oriole mascot were on hand to welcome Gold Card Holders and to share a few updates after attendees enjoyed boxed dinners provided by Penn Station.
We are grateful for our Gold Card Holders and we appreciate the support they show our students and educators!
The Avon Gold Card program enables Avon-Washington Township residents who are age 65 and up to enjoy a wide variety of performing arts and athletics events free of charge. Visit the Gold Card webpage for upcoming dates instructions for joining.
