Inspiring the Next Generation of Musicians

Band Director Kevin Welborn took several of Avon High School's most talented musicians — members of the Wind Symphony — to visit students at White Oak Early Learning Center for a round of musical show-and-tell. They demonstrated their instruments for a rapt audience of preschool students and explained how they work to produce their unique sounds.

"The instrument demo was a huge hit!" said Preschool Instructor Stephanie Wigger. "Students did a fabulous job interacting and demonstrating their instruments to our kiddos." 

Who knows? One day these preschoolers might be playing in the AHS Wind Symphony.
