Juniors Participate in Day of Caring

Students completed a variety of projects — from reading to elementary-age students to delivering treats to first responders to cleaning out storage rooms — at nearly 30 sites in Avon and around Hendricks County.

Junior Day of Caring "is a special day when AHS lives out its 'We are Avon, We are One' philosophy. ... Numerous teachers, counselors, and administrators have been preparing for a few weeks to make September 15 a meaningful and engaging day. ... In order to foster a spirit of integrity, empathy, and civic responsibility, students will work with their peers and teachers to serve the Hendricks County community."
Thank you students, teachers, and administrators, for making Junior Day of Caring a productive and memorable day for the class of '24.
