Meet Avon's 2024 Teacher of the Year
River Birch Elementary Multilingual Teacher Sam Smith is Avon Community School Corporation's 2024 Andy Mohr Teacher of the Year.
An avid long-distance hiker and veteran ACSC educator, Sam was chosen to receive the honor of the Teacher of the Year designation by an independent panel on the basis of her portfolio. We are grateful to her — and to the hundreds of dedicated educators she represents — for doing so much to ensure all our students belong, learn, and grow.
