Middle School Musicians Win All-Music Award

It's official. The Avon Middle School North and South Orchestra and Band received the All Music Award this year!
It is the first time for the South band since the 2018-19 school year, and this will be the 4th time in the school's history that they have received this award. For the North and South orchestras, this is the first time to receive the All Music Award.
To get the award, each school has to participate in every ISSMA event for middle school and receive a gold rating: Gold Solo at Solo and Ensemble, Gold Ensemble in Group 3 at Solo and Ensemble, Gold at ISSMA Contest, Gold at Jazz Contest.
Congratulations to all students and their directors: Jeremy Basso, Cory Gates, Emma Cook, Vivian Szymkow, Carmen Smith, and Kyle Miller for providing every middle school music performance opportunity that ISSMA offers including Solo & Ensemble, Jazz Contest and Junior/Middle/Elementary Organization Contest!
