National Merit Commended Students
Five Avon High School students and one '21 graduate have been named 2022 Commended Students by the National Merit® Scholarship Program. Approximately 1.5 million high school students enter this program each year, and AHS students Maximilian Fultz, Vanessa Janko, Andrew Epperson, Krishna Lathish, Michael Vetter, and '21 AHS grad, Alexander Brahos are among the top 50,000 performers.
According to the program, "These students are being recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry."
