North, South Musicians Perform at IMEA Conference

Congratulations to orchestra students Addi Brock and Samantha Grammer (AMS North) and Eli Ashlock and Josephine Adegbite (AMS South) for a truly stellar Junior All State performance on Saturday at the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne. These students performed as part of the Indiana Music Education Association conference and sponsored by the Indiana American String Teacher’s Association.

These four Avon musicians prepared audition materials, submitted a blind audition, were accepted from over 100 auditioners, prepared music for two months, rehearsed for about 14 hours over two days with students from across the state, and then performed some very difficult musical selections at a culminating concert at 4:00 pm.

Bravo!
