Pine Tree is up for the Challenge!

Pine Tree Elementary School recently participated in The Great Kindness Challenge along with over 22,108,050 students in 45,176 schools across 135 countries. The goal: spreading kindness in schools, families, and communities around the globe.
Pine Tree Young Leaders helped kick off this challenge by spreading kindness through the school with a "take what you need" board of positive affirmations and a mural that members got to color and put together.
Every student then received a Kindness Checklist to help them show kindness all week. Some of the kind acts included smiling at 25 people, telling a joke to make someone laugh, helping a younger student, inviting a new friend to play with you, and more. Staff and students enjoyed fun dress up days to remember to spread kindness everywhere!
