Swimmers Earn All-American Status

The Avon High School Swim team had an excellent season in the pool and the classroom. Just like happens on teams across our Athletic Department, not only are swim team members growing as individuals, setting and achieving stretch goals, and learning the value of teamwork, they're doing so under the watchful eye and expert guidance of their coaches.

Swim team parent Adriana Espinoza pointed out that Coach Jon Karr has made a major impact on the members of the team. Via email, she wrote, "As the mother of a student who has been swimming under Coach Karr for 13 years, it would be amazing to see him acknowledged for the impact he’s had no only in my daughter’s life, but the lives of many more athletes through the years. I am just truly grateful for the role he has played in helping my daughter grow into such a disciplined, responsible, and committed athlete and young woman."
