Sycamore Earns Major Honor

Sycamore Earns Major Honor

Sycamore Elementary School has been recognized as a 2025 National ESEA Distinguished School for exceptional student performance and academic growth.

This honor is only given to up to 100 US schools each year, placing Sycamore in excellent company. (Pine Tree earned the honor in 2021.)

According to the National ESEA Association, the "program, established in 1996, celebrates schools that have made significant improvements in education through the effective use of federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) funds."

The 2025 National ESEA Distinguished Schools will be honored in February, at the National ESEA Conference in Denver.

Congratulations to our students, teachers, and staff for earning this prestigious national award!
