Tanya and Emma Havrilla Choose Avon Schools
When people can choose to attend school or teach wherever they want, what makes so many families, students, and educators continue to choose Avon Schools?
Several years ago, when Tanya began teaching kindergarten in Avon Schools after many years in a district in northern Indiana, it was a big move. Her college-age daughter Emma soon began helping out in her classroom and fell in love with Tanya's coworkers. She decided to become a teacher in Avon Schools, too. Tanya teaches kindergarten at Hickory Elementary and Emma teaches 5th grade at Avon Intermediate School West. Both of them are glad they chose Avon.
