The 2025 Referendum Report is Here
In 2018, Avon-Washington Township voters approved an operating referendum to support Avon’s students and educators. The support has allowed us to focus on three priorities:
- lower class sizes,
- increased teacher compensation, and
- more student supports.
The results? You can see for yourselves by reviewing the 2025 Referendum Progress Report.
Not only have we kept our promises to the community, we have been able to address our referendum priorities while lowering the tax rate nearly 33% from the voter-approved rate. Furthermore, we have never used referendum funds for transportation, construction/renovation, administrative positions, or technology/equipment.
We are thankful to you for supporting Avon students and educators, ensuring we remain a school corporation where all belong, learn, and grow.
