The Class of '25 Chooses Avon Schools

We're not quite finished celebrating the Avon High School class of '25 yet. Several of them sat down to tell us about their experiences in Avon Schools. There were 860 students in this year's class and each one has a unique story. We're grateful to these grads for sharing their stories with us as representatives of their incredible class.

Rion Bolden attended Avon Schools from kindergarten through graduation. Find out how his academic and extracurricular experiences have shown him the path he's chosen for his career and hear him talk about what it has been like for him to grow up in Avon and attend Avon Schools.

An Avon Schools student since kindergarten, Kate Lynam is on her way to Purdue on a full-ride scholarship that will even cover her studies abroad. Find out how she entered AHS without a clear idea of what career path she'd pursue and hear her explain how her classroom and extracurricular experiences have given her clarity on pursuing a career in interior design.

Whether it's playing a stringed instrument in the state champion Orchestra or captaining the Robotics team, Ike Coleman is taking a ton of valuable experiences away from his time at Avon High School. Most notably, he is already off to a flying start on his career as an engineer in the racing industry. Find out how his time in Avon Schools, a little help from a well-connected teacher, and a lot of hard work have put Ike in a place where he's excelling.

These twin sisters are glad that they chose to participate in all their time at AHS had to offer, and they're leaving Avon Schools with lessons and relationships that will last a lifetime. Find out a few of the ways Precious and Mercy Olaniyan were involved, who's made the biggest impact on them, and what they're taking with them to Northwestern this fall

Luke Sigler — an Avon student since kindergarten — knows where he's headed, and he's greatful for the opportunities that have put him on that path. A leader on Avon's first state champion show choir, he is grateful for the staff and classmates who have made Avon so special. He's headed to Indiana State this fall to pursue a career in Music Education.
