Willow Students Celebrate Book Vending Machine Reveal

Kindergarten students and their teachers gathered in the lobby at Willow Elementary School with Principal Laura Lee, two helpful fifth-grade students, and proud PTO moms to reveal the school's brand-new book vending machine.

After Mrs. Lee unwrapped the machine and the excitement died down, the fifth graders explained how to use it and called up four lucky students to be the first to choose a book to take home.

"Now delivering one book," says a friendly voice before the book of the student's choosing tumbles into the retrieval area.

Learning to love reading is so important for young students, and this shiny, new vending machine adds extra excitement for all who will use it for years to come.
