Your February '26 ALL Stars

Earlier this month, you had the chance to nominate any Avon Schools employee who embodies our mission: ALL belong, learn, and grow. You nominated 129 individuals — and the entire Transportation Department — and we are sending your encouraging comments directly to them.

Here's just a sample of your comments:

• She has been such a gem for our daughter and our family. She has a special talent for seeing the unique and special in all kids and embracing who they are. Our daughter has felt seen, loved, and challenged this year, all while being guided and pushed for continued growth in all areas.
• He is a wonderfully student-centered principal. He is in the cafeteria doing lunch duty, knows the children's names, makes connections with students, and is always smiling. But as much as he cares about the students, he is always willing to drop what he is doing to assist a staff member. He cares deeply for his students and his staff.
• She is the kind of teacher that every kid needs in their life—she is a ray of light, encourages and believes in each kiddo, and does everything she can to help them reach their fullest potential. She supports her kids in so many different ways to help them be successful in her classroom and in life. My daughter loves going to school each day because of her.
• She has a heart for teaching and goes out of her way to make sure her students get what they need to be successful.
• He helps students work on their life skills so they can be productive members of our society. He is kind, patient, funny, encouraging, and positive. He brings such a great energy and positivity.
• She goes above and beyond to form deep connections with her students. She is always checking in with them, making them smile, bragging on them (which is so important for their self-esteem), and giving them a safe place to land when they are feeling overwhelmed.
