Your May '26 ALL Stars

Earlier this month, you had the chance to nominate any Avon Schools employee who embodies our mission: ALL belong, learn, and grow. You nominated 82 individuals, and we are sending your encouraging comments directly to them.

Here's just a sample of your comments:

• When I think of him, I think of his genuine care for people. He knows students by name, he listens to teachers’ ideas, and he makes decisions that put children’s needs first.
• She is a great support to her team, a huge cheerleader for kids, and a wonderful friend!  Everything that she does comes from a place of love and the utmost respect for everyone. Sycamore, and honestly the world, is a better place because she is in it.
• Her love of children is evident in all she does. Our students gravitate to her, as she is always looking for ways to connect and engage with them in meaningful ways.
• She has been an absolute delight to work with this year. Being a first year teacher, I have needed lots of guidance, and she has been just that for me. I consider her to be not only a teammate, but also a friend.
• She goes above the call of duty every day! When a teacher will call her or text, she comes to help immediately!
• She consistently advocates for student needs and keeps students at the center of all her decision-making.
• She cares for each and every student. She meets them where they are at to make sure everyone is learning and staying safe. She makes learning very fun and exciting for her class!
