Your November '24 ALL Stars

Earlier this month, you had the chance to nominate any Avon Schools employee who embodies our mission: ALL belong, learn, and grow. You nominated nearly 70 individuals and we are sending your encouraging comments directly to them.

Here's just a sample of your comments:

• She works tirelessly to give back to staff, students, and families. Within her classroom she holds high expectations for ALL of her students and will not give up on a student no matter what.
• He makes learning Math fun. He makes sure that everyone is caught up and won't go on until everyone is. He connects with us in ways that other teachers don't, but doesn't let that get in the way of our learning. ... I'm so glad that I had him as a teacher this year.
• My daughter looks forward to going to school every day and having her as her teacher. ... I could not have asked for a better teacher for my daughter as she starts school.
• She is a team player! She looks for ways that she can support students, teachers, or parents with her knowledge, a laugh, her time, or a Taylor Swift dance party!
• The students she works with are eager to learn and thrive under her guidance. She takes the time to build meaningful relationships with our young learners and provides invaluable feedback to us as classroom teachers.
• I have never met anyone else who is such a servant leader and will do anything in her power to ensure that ALL students belong, learn, and grow.
