The Avon Board of School Trustees commended five incredible individuals and groups of students at their regular session on May 11 for their outstanding achievements.

It's time to begin making room so our Orioles — whether they're involved in arts or athletics — can spread their wings across the entire AHS campus. Join us at a campus master planning community input session on June 10 or 17.

All four of our Avon High School groups that attempted to qualify for State Finals will participate in the ISSMA State Concert Finals on May 8-9! AHS is the only school in the state to send four groups to the competition.

Tune up and get ready for another great Middle School Orchestra summer camp at AMS South on July 6-10. This camp is for students who will be entering grades 7, 8, or 9.

Students entering 6th grade, you're invited to join us for Avon Middle School Beginning Orchestra Summer Camp on July 6-10! All are welcome and encouraged to participate.

All three Avon middle schools have received the ISSMA All Music Award for the 2025-26 school year, an incredible tribute to the dedication of our music educators and students.

Avon High School Bands wrapped up their winter season recently and, in the process, they've rewritten the record books. All three groups won State and Indoor Winds are World Champions again!

During a jam-packed meeting of the Avon Board of School Trustees on Monday, April 13, eight separate groups and individuals were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

The AHS Dance Team always puts together a competitive season, and 2026 was no exception. They're dancing home again with multiple awards including another State Championship.

Avon Accents are back-to-back State Champions, once again winning this year's mixed division competition. Attraction took second in the univoiced division.

Matt Abbey will become the Director of Bands at Avon High School. He will assume leadership of the legendary Band program—which includes the six-time national champion Avon Marching Black & Gold—at the start of the upcoming school year.

Super Bowl winning coach Tony Dungy showed up at Avon High School to surprise retiring Band and Orchestra Directors Matt Harloff and Dean Westman.

All Avon high school and middle school Jazz Band and String Ensembles earned Gold Ratings at ISSMA contest last weekend, placing them one step closer to the ISSMA All-Music Award.

This summer camp, which is scheduled for June 8-12, is an excellent opportunity for students entering grades 1-8 to learn the fundamentals of musical theatre and experience all aspects of practicing, producing, and performing.

Students who will be entering grades 1-9 in the 2026-27 school year are eligible to register for Showstoppers Show Choir Camp. It's coming up from June 22-26 at Avon High School.
