MLM Community Pantry
Welcome to the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry
We serve all Avon Community School Corporation employees and families that have a child in the Avon Community School Corporation. In order to assist us and help you more efficiently, we ask you to register, just once a year.
Currently, we are in person shopping every Thursday from 5:00-6:00 PM
- Please do not arrive before 4:30 and stay in your car until 4:45 when the Open sign is put out.
- You will receive a number from one of our volunteers and wait in line until your group is called into the pantry.
- You will be able to choose what you want from the shelves. There are limits on each of the shelves.
- You will then go to the outdoor section to choose produce and baked goods.

Donations can be dropped off at the Avon Community Schools Corporation Administration building located at 7203 E US Hwy 36 Avon, IN 46123.
Monetary donations will be forwarded to the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry Treasurer, Amber Walters. Please make all checks payable to the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry in an envelope labeled "Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry c/o Amber Walters".

Meet Mary Lee Maier
Mary Lee Maier is the mother of Mindy Cunningham of Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG). Due to CRG’s extensive support of the pantry, Mike Cunningham was asked to name the pantry. He did so in honor of his mother-in-law. Mary Lee was a dedicated kindergarten teacher in Cincinnati for more than 20 years, and an active and involved community member. She influenced children through her involvement in PTA, Girl Scouts, the Cincinnati Jayceettes, and as a church elder. She also volunteered as an instructor at her beloved swim club and inner-city public schools. Her passion and energy in providing kids with opportunity embodies the spirit of the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry.
