Avon Schools uses SchoolCare as a tool for parents to provide medical information about their children. The system stores student immunization information, physical exams results, medication information, and nurse visits securely and in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations. Families are able to access SchoolCare at any time from their computer, smartphone, or tablet to see their student's activity in the clinic and will recieve nightly communication regarding any clinic visits that may have occurred. Please make sure you have signed up for an account.

Log in to access your child's information. If the demographics are incorrect, please contact your child's school to have this corrected.

If you have problems with SchoolCare, contact support. If they can't help, contact the school nurse during the school year. During the summer, contact Sarah Murphy, RN.

Following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocol on quarantines. The approach is very cautious in taking steps to limit the spread of COVID-19 in schools. Quarantines do not mean a school is unsafe or unhealthy for students and staff. Quarantines mean significant proactive measures have been taken to support student and staff health. The vast majority of individuals who are quarantined feel fine, never develop symptoms, and do not test positive for COVID-19. This number will decrease as individuals show proof of vaccination.

* When the Indiana Department of Health changed contact tracing requirements during the week of January 23-29, a clerical oversight caused an underreporting of positive cases in grades 7-12. This affected the totals reported on Jan. 27, Jan. 31, and Feb. 3. We reported a combined total of 9 positive cases at Avon High School, Avon Middle School North, and Avon Middle School South during these weeks. The numbers in this chart show the corrected total. There were 87 cases in these schools during this two-week span compared to 135 cases in PreK-6.
