During its first meeting of 2019, the Avon School Board of Trustees welcomed two new members: Anita Downing Overton and Gregory Dana. They were each elected in November to serve four-year terms.

In addition, during the Board reorganization portion of the meeting, Anne Engelhardt was elected president, Kim Woodward, vice president and Cynthia Simmons, secretary.
