Kayla Kuepper is ACSC's Andy Mohr Teacher of the Year
Avon Community School Corporation’s Andy Mohr Teacher of the Year was announced during the annual Back to School Celebration. Maple Elementary Instructional Coach Kayla Kuepper was selected as the winner! She was chosen by a committee comprised of local community members.
Mrs. Kuepper joined ACSC in 2013. She is the co-founder of the traveling teachers program, part of the ACSC technology implementation and planning team and has been a technology committee leader. She is trained in the Six Standards of Effective Pedagogy and in Orton Gillingham. Mrs. Kuepper is a founding member of the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry. In addition, she initiated the Latino Literacy program that provides an opportunity for our bilingual families to develop a love of reading together.
