Meal Service Available

Off-Site Student Meal Service Available (2020-21 School Year)

Avon Schools is pleased to offer meals to students participating in e-Learning as well as high school students (on hybrid days away from school).

Who is this program for? Enrolled ACSC students participating in virtual learning and enrolled AHS students on days when they are not physically in school.

How do students get meals? Meal pick up will be available weekdays when school is in session. Our first day to offer meals to these students is Wednesday, August 19th.

When and where is meal pick up? Weekdays from 11:30am to 12:00pm at the ACSC Administration Building (7203 E U.S. Hwy 36, Avon). We will offer curbside pickup. Please pull into one of the reserved parking spots and call (317) 544-6000. We will ask you a few questions over the phone and then bring your meals out to your car. Your school-aged children do not need to be present to pick up meals.

What is included? A lunch will include a frozen main entrée with heating instructions or an Uncrustable frozen sandwich, assorted fruit and vegetable sides and milk. We will also offer a breakfast for the next day! Foods served will vary but your child will see many of their favorite school lunch and breakfast items!

Is it free? Meals are free for students approved for free meals through ACSC for the 20/21 school year. Reduced students will pay $0.40 for lunch and $0.30 for breakfast. Paying students are welcome to participate as well for just $2.50 (elementary) or $2.60 (secondary); $1.50 for breakfast. If applicable, your child’s lunch account will be charged for meals when they are picked up.
