This certification is a Two-Part blended learning course.
The first part, HeartSaver CPR AED Online, is the E-Learning portion of the HeartSaver CPR AED course. This 75-minute online course will replace the traditional “classroom” coursework of the certification. You will complete this portion online in a fashion that best fits your schedule.
To enroll in this Online HeartSaver Class (Part 1), access the online portion of the certification below. The fee for this online portion is $18.50, payable via credit card to the American Heart Association.
The second part of the course is the CPR AED proficiency demonstration. This portion is about 45 minutes and can be completed by any entity that meets licensing requirements. There are lists of providers by zip code when searching the American Heart Association Website. The ACSC Transportation Department does offer classes, but the availability is limited and may not meet the timelines of your licensing. Please be sure ample time is given to complete this requirement. If you are looking to schedule with our Transportation Department, please give Lynda Settimi a call to check availability. Her extension is 6161. If Lynda Settimi is unavailable, there are scheduled classes at the Washington Township Fire Department. You can visit their website and enroll in a class. The skills check that they offer is $30 and class sizes/times are limited.
